Medical advertising pre-review is a system in which medical ads must be reviewed by a medical advertising review committee before they run in certain media (Article 57 of the Medical Service Act).
Medical ads in newspapers and magazines, outdoor media such as banners and electronic signs, and internet and social media above the user threshold set in the Enforcement Decree must be reviewed in advance.
Advertising without review, or differently from what was approved, violates Article 56 of the Medical Service Act. For content run as an ad, first check whether it requires review.
