AEO / GEO in Korea & Abroad
AEO (answer engine optimization) and GEO (generative engine optimization) are about
getting AI such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Naver AI Briefing,
when it answers, to mention your brand and cite your website as evidence.
MAKE Marketing builds websites that AI reads in Korea and in Taiwan, Japan, English-speaking markets, Singapore and more,
measures AI answers by language and follows each country's advertising rules.

Getting AI in every country
to talk about your brand
We ask the same questions in each language,
and check which sources AI cites.
AI answers by language
We ask the same questions in Korean, English, Japanese and Traditional Chinese and record whether you are mentioned.
Citation source analysis
We check which pages AI cites as the basis of its answers.
Country pages
We set up pages for each language with hreflang and structured data.
Sample screen: the same question is asked in Korean, English, Japanese and Traditional Chinese to measure mention rates by language (52%, 18%, 9%, 24%); our website is identified among the cited sources, and hreflang and FAQ structured data are applied to the /en/, /ja/ and /zh-tw/ pages.

What MAKE Marketing does
AI visibility measurement
We measure mention and citation rates by engine and language, based on 20 real customer questions, and analyze the sites that get cited instead.
Question design
We organize the questions customers ask AI by industry, area and country, and build content starting with the questions that have no answer yet.
Answer-ready content
We create pages that give the answer in the first sentence and are structured with tables, lists and dates.
Websites that AI reads in each country
We separate pages and URLs by country, for Taiwan, Japan, English-speaking markets, Singapore and more, and apply an H1, FAQ, structured data and hreflang for each language.
Keywords based on real search volume
We set keywords by analyzing the expressions local people actually search for and their search volume, not translated terms.
Technical structure
We set up AI crawler access (robots.txt), the sitemap, H1s, structured data (Organization, Service, FAQPage) and llms.txt.
Outside signals and contact channels
We match the brand information on Naver Place, Google Business Profile and blogs with the website, and connect the contact channels people use locally.
Each country's advertising rules
For clinics, we review expressions against Korea's Medical Service Act, Japan's medical advertising guidelines and Taiwan's Medical Care Act.
How we work
Measurement
We analyze, by country and language, which brands AI currently recommends and what it cites.
Design
We design the questions to be cited for, the evidence content and keywords for each country.
Build
We set up the website structure, multilingual pages and outside signals.
Tracking
We measure changes in visibility and citations every round.
Frequently asked questions
How are SEO and AEO/GEO different?
SEO raises your ranking in the list of search results. AEO and GEO get your brand mentioned, or your website cited as evidence, inside AI-generated answers. SEO is the foundation, but AI answers put more weight on sentences that answer the question directly and on information that matches across sources.
Can you guarantee visibility in ChatGPT?
No. Each engine builds its answers on its own. Instead, we build the evidence to be cited, measure with the same question set and share the changes openly.
How long does it take to show up in AI answers?
Each engine collects and reflects information on a different schedule, so it's hard to fix a timeframe. That's why we re-measure with the same questions every round.
Do you cover Naver AI Briefing too?
Yes. For each search, we analyze whether blog content is cited as an AI Briefing source and whether the brand is mentioned in the summary.
Isn't translation enough?
Translated sentences often differ from what local customers actually search for. Pages show up in search and AI answers only when you analyze local search terms and questions first and build the pages in those words.
Which countries do you cover?
Korea, plus mainly Taiwan, Japan, English-speaking markets and Singapore.
Are there rules for clinics advertising to overseas patients?
Yes. Medical institutions that want to attract foreign patients must register under Korea's Act on Support for Overseas Expansion of the Medical System and Attraction of Foreign Patients, and the Medical Service Act bans advertising in Korea aimed at attracting foreign patients. We also check the rules of the country where the ads are shown.
